As the 2014 General Elections has started, controversial and/or hate public speeches from leaders of many political parties are making headlines. From F.I.R. against Imran Masood of Congress to Election Commission banning political leaders like Amit Shah of BJP and Azam Khan of SP from speaking in public gatherings, for hate statements,it just doesn’t seem to stop.
While Amit Shah preferred apologizing Azam Khan threatened to take the Election Commission to the Court of Law , forget apologizing. Mulayam Singh, the SP supremo has also been served a notice by the commission for a controversial statement on Rape. To add on BJP’s Muktar Abbas,Giriraj Singh all are giving controversial statements.
Looks like, political parties are competing in this as well. Which party will manage to get most number of complaints and controversial statements ??Β From Modi,to Rahul,to Kejriwal, everyone seem to be using controversial statement to sustain in the news.Is it a number game here to ??
Well, she has a reason to say so because of the 2002 Gujarat riots that took place during Modi’s regime. But if by any chance she gets an opportunity to be the PM ??? History also reminds us,as a Chief Minister of UP, how she had wasted crores and crores of money in making Elephant Statues(her party symbol) and a park packed with statues of her party’s leaders including herself. Was that not pure wastage of funds which could have been allocated for the welfare of the citizens of the state?
For those who may not be aware of Kabaddi,it is one of the ethnic and old games played in India and neighbouring countries, the name of which originates from Tamil word- ‘ Kai-pidi’ meaning ‘Hold Hands’ .
The 2014 General Elections,in a nutshell,is Modi vs All.From small state level parties to big national level , all seem to be stopping this one man from being the Prime Minister of India 2014. Few are also from within his team. Others are maintaining silence to see the results before reacting and taking decisions.
After all, there are many silent contenders who wish to get the top job,few are known to all and few are waiting for the right opportunity. Almost all the parties are playing to stop Modi , be it newly formed AAP or Β formed since pre-Independence, Congress.
Regardless of the results of 2014 General Elections,Modi has surely emerged as the only extraordinary Indian politician for who citizens of the nation seem to have divided Β into two groups Β – Pro-Modi and Anti-Modi.
In a short tv speech , Sonia Gandhi, the Congress President is seen appealing to the people of India to defeat the ‘divisive and autocratic forces’ in the nation. She attacked the BJP by claiming their vision is clouded with hatred and falsehood.
Looks like , its little too late now. Had it not been better Congress would have worked all this while ?? Will this last minute appeal really work for Congress ??
Addressing a rally in Maharashtra , Rahul Gandhi took a dig at Gujarat’s model of development by saying businessmen like Adani get land in Gujarat for Re1, almost the price at which we buy ‘toffee’.
“Toffee ” ?? Β Out of everything else??
Is that why the opposition still considers him Mumma’s boy ??
So we know where its coming from ?? Β π π π
In an attempt to attract minority votes for his party,SP leader,Azam Khan, crossed boundaries of division on the basis of religion. He went ahead to create a rift in Indian army. He said it were the Muslim soldiers who won the Kargil war of 1999 and not any hindu soldiers.
Secular Votes ?? Does he mean any vote not for BJP and allies would be considered a Secular Vote or does he mean all Muslim votes should be considered Secular Votes ??? π
Looks like the Congress is more scared of other self proclaiming secular parties like itself more than ‘communal’ parties of the nation!!
π
Reminds of a popular dialogue from movie ‘Dabang’ – ‘Thappar se darr nahi lagta Saab ji, Pyar se lagta hai’ Β – (not scared of slaps saheb, scared of love )
Sonia ji to Imam Bukhari – “Communal parties se darr nahi lagta Imam Saab, other ‘Secular’ parties se darr lagta hai” π π
While AAP could easily retain its Delhi governance it chose to sight a reason of leaving the govt and did the same in 49 days. They were keen to pay attention towards 2014 General Elections. While the AAP came to power requesting people to SMS and suggest them whether they should make the Govt or not in Delhi. They never bothered asking the same public as to should they quit the Delhi governance and try their luck in General Elections.
Is AAP really taking politics as a child’s play ?? Or is it that it was a well thought move to attempt Centre Politics leaving Delhi Arvind Kejriwal knew its ‘Now or Never’ if he wishes to make it real big in politics.
