New Draft of Lokpal Bill-Bedi ok Anna and Kejriwal not

While Anna Hazare has criticized the new draft of Lokpal Bill by the government, his team member ,Kiran Bedi,said it met most of the demands of a strong lokpal and is a baby step towards the same.Arvind Kejriwal , the ex-Team Anna member and the ‘Aam Aadmi Party’ chief has also declared his dissatisfaction with the new draft.

The name,Anna Hazare, got popular with the same Lokpal Bill issue which he wanted to be passed by the government, to curb down corruption in India and the same Lokpal Bill made him head a team called  ‘ Team Anna’ and then differences of opinion made Arvind Kejriwal, a prominent Team Anna member split and launch his political party- the Aam Aadmi Party-a political solution to fight corruption in India and all this paced down the India Against Corruption Movement led by Anna.Now it seems like another key member Kiran Bedi has a difference of opinion with Anna.Hopefully,she sticks around with Anna. 🙂

The government,on the other hand, has not only been quite successful in curbing down the much-hyped ‘India Against Corruption Movement’ but has also successfully reduced the strength and impact of  Anna and his Team.Kudos to the art of silence of our Prime Minister  ‘Maun'(means silence in Hindi)mohan Singh,the India Against Corruption Movement slowly and yet steadily lost its leadership,pace,goal and ultimately the interest and support of usually reluctant to react-  ‘Aam Aadmi'(common man). Well,the mystery remains unsolved if it was Team Anna itself or a clever brain of the Govt behind the sabotage of a world renowned movement led by Anna.  🙂

Won’t vote for AAP!Kejriwal is fascinated to power-Anna

Anna Hazare ,the anti-corruption crusader, who seems pathless after Arvind Kejriwal (ex key Team Anna Member) decided to join politics to curb corruption,leaving Anna and his anti-corruption movement directionless,has declared he wont vote for Kejriwal’s party as he feels Kejriwal is power hungry.Previously,as well, he had given similar statements against Kejriwal and Kejriwal remain silent.

Is this a genuine feedback about Arvind Kejriwal by his ex-boss, Anna Hazare or is it just dissatisfaction as the focus of the world has shifted from Anna and ‘India Against Corruption’ Movement to Arvind Kejriwal and his ‘Aam Admi Party’? 😉

Anna-Kejriwal is not greedy for money but may be for power !

Anna Hazare, the Gandhian activist, who was the boss of  India Against Corruption Movement and also the boss of Arvind Kejriwal feels Arvind may be Power Hungry although he also claimed Arvind is not greedy for money ! They parted ways after Arvind decided to get into politics in order to curb corruption which Anna did not agree on!

Well,its human to be greedy provided it is directed towards a noble cause.

Digvijay writes to Arvind-his new assignment!

Digvijay Singh has written to Arvind Kejriwal accusing him of politically ambitious and that he wanted to be NAC member since he has known him and has also requested him to answer 5 questions he is about to ask , to let Arvind prove his genuity towards his intentions of fighting against corruption.

Digvijay Singh as Kejriwal , in response to his letter, expressed,seems to be Congress’ last resort , as before.He has been in news counter-accusing anyone and everyone who speaks against Congress. Seems like counter-accusing people speaking against Congress, is on his priority lists of jobs assigned to him. 😀

Be it Mamata Banerjee,Anna Hazare , Shri Shr Ravi Shankar or Baba Ramdev or even Former General VK Singh ( and many more), Digvijay Singh has been commenting against anyone who seems a threat to the government. Well,this is quite patriotic,so what,if it is just towards his political party? 😀

Kejriwal promises Lokpal in 10 days if elected !

Arvind Kejriwal, the x-Team Anna right hand promised Lokpal within 10 days if his party gets elected in upcoming elections and postponed the date of declaring his political party’s name by 26th November.

While, Anna Hazare is inspired by the Father Of Nation-Mahatma Gandhi,who is Arvind Kejriwal inspired by that he gave up on fasts and protests against corruption and decided to launch his own political party to fight corruption? 🙂

Digvijay Singh, who has termed Baba Ramdev a ‘thug'(cheat),Anna Hazare and his movement politically motivated and went to the extent of criticizing Mamata Banerjee (and was humiliated by his own party for criticizing Mamata), has picked up a new war against CAG chief ,Vinod Rai. He has termed him politically ambitious after the CAG report has shaken the clear-image of the Prime Minister , Manmohan Singh.

Looks like he is being given unofficial right by the Govt to counter-accuse anyone and everyone who dares against his party. 😀

Baba Ramdev’s fast ends – Yet another failure ?

Fasts failed , movements died, govt congratulated itself  and the nation cried !-Jack(ed) Roberts 🙂

End of yet another fast with no strong conclusion , all the more, when Baba Ramdev has declared he would not surprise the nation by announcing his political party like the Team Anna. Considerably, this was as big a flop show as was Team Anna’s with the only difference that Baba could yet pull a huge crowd in support(after all he has a chain dealers and distributors for his patanjali products).

Did all this actually effect the Government? Even the official and unofficial speakers(Kapil Sibal,Digvijay Singh,Salman Khurshid) followed Prime Minister’s path of maintaining ‘ultimate silence’. The result – neither the Team Anna nor Baba Ramdev could force the government to even utter a single word related to their demands.

Has corruption and black money become so much a part of us that we do not mind at all ? Is there really a leader who can wake us up ? With the failure of two socially recognized giant leaders – Anna and Baba Ramdev, falling flat on ground,for not being able to deliver as committed, the nation ,so much comfortable with all odds around, may remain asleep for another decade or more letting the tree of corruption strengthen itself  !
