After JDU Sena asks BJP to name PM candidate

After JD(U) its Shiv Sena which wants BJP to declare the NDA candidate for Prime Minister’s  job ! While Sena has no complains with Modi and 2002 riots where they say that none could avoid those riots , it wants Sushma Swaraj to be the candidate and not Narendra Modi (sounds like the present Sena supremo is in  a dilemma) !!  😉

All in all, looks like BJP is in a bigger fix! Nitish Kumar, the Bihar CM wants a secular candidate (without naming himself  😀 )and prefers supporting L.K.Advani as the candidate (whose involvement in Ayodhya Movement has been pardoned by Nitish, I suppose  🙂 )  while Sena declared its choice already.

Lets see if the NaMo mantra will cross the major barriers of objecting allies or not !! 🙂

Sena changes its stand on Sanjay Dutt

In a reversing move , Shiv Sena has decided not to stand in favour of  Sanjay Dutt’s jail sentence be pardoned, pointing out that supporting Sanjay Dutt would set a very wrong example !

Why a U-Turn ? Is it a lack of decision making ? Or Uddhav is inspired by Mulayam Ji ? 😀

MNS opposes Sena proposal of Balasaheb’s Memorial at Shivaji Park!

Quite contrary to the expectation of MNS and Shiv Sena joining hands after Bal Thackeray, the Shiv Sena Chief  expired, last week, the Raj Thackeray led, MNS, has opposed Balasaheb’s Memorial at the Shivaji Park and has instead proposed Indu Mill for the Memorial.This has brought both the parties into tussle mode again and assuring the world that Late Bal Thackeray’s efforts to unite his son, Uddhav Thackeray and nephew,Raj Thackeray, has failed ultimately.

‘Operation X’ to execute Kasab !

A secret operation named ‘X’ was carried out to execute Ajmal Kasab . Kasab was executed in the Yarwada Jail of Pune while he was put up at the Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai . An operation known to only a handful of people was carried out in complete secrecy just to avoid any last minute hitches!

Hope Kasab, the 25 year old , terrorist does not require an ‘Operation X’ while being taken to God’s Court !

Balasaheb is no more…..who is his better successor?

Bal Thackery the controversial yet popular Maratha Leader has left a huge baggage of his popularity and fan following after his demise which can still play a prominent role in Maharashtra politics ! Its a human tendency to look upon  for a replacement, equally competent,of  such mass leaders.Often,obvious choice is any immediate blood-relation of  such crowd puller!

Uddhav Thackeray, son of Balasaheb was undoubtedly a perfect son but is he a perfect successor to  the throne of Bal Thackeray,is a question which arose since the popularity of Balasaheb’s nephew Raj Thackeray who was considered far more competent than Uddhav and quit the Shiv Sena to form his own political party , MNS, when he understood his role would remain limited in the Sena.

He proved his worth by taking his party head strong against Shiv Sena within 6 years and it was only this year,Bal Thackeray had managed to bring Raj close to Sena to support eachother’s party rather than behaving rivals.

Well, Uddhav is the obvious replacement to Bal Thackeray, by virtue of his birth, as his son but is Raj a better successor to encash the political branding which his uncle has created ?

After a long fight with prolonged illness, the Maratha Tiger and the Shiv Sena Head was declared dead at around 3:30 pm,today !

A cartoonist, a journalist , an influential speaker,a political leader , a godfather, a mentor, a visionary and to some, a reason to fear ,  Balasaheb Thackeray’s name would remain inevitable in the Maharashtrian politics ! Often compared to a tiger by some and to Adolf  Hitler by many,Bal Thackeray was a known personality not only in the nation but also worldwide !

Bal Thackeray’s stable health brings Mumbai back to normal.

The hardliner Hindu political leader and Marathi Manus and the Supremo of Shiv Sena,commonly compared to a tiger-Bal Thackeray, has attained stability in health and is recovering well after being on life support, a day back. The 86 year old who was not keeping well since past three weeks  was visited by all major bollywood stars, known political leaders and Yoga guru Baba Ramdev !

On Thursday,  many areas of  Mumbai came to a stand still after  Balasaheb Thackeray’s health turned critical.Shops were closed,Mumbai police was put on high-alert and and RAF was deployed guarding ‘Matoshree’,Thackeray’s residence!

Often wearing a white or saffron kurta and garlanded with rudraksha beads, with a grey beard and sitting on a throne-like chair,Balasaheb Thackeray’s personality speaks for itself. Such is his popularity that only after Balasaheb’s son Uddhav publicly confirmed that Balasaheb’s health was stable,Mumbai seem to have attained normalcy!

Heavy rains in Mumbai!

While country’s financial capital-Mumbai, has slowed down its pace due to heavy rains continuing for over a day, now and making people’s life miserable with water-logging on rail-tracks and roads and flood-like atmosphere,just a thought, on how may Raj Thackeray, the MNS Supremo , may utilize heavy rains for his publicity. And how may Shiv Sena, which had previously backed Raj Thackeray on his anti-Bihari speeches, helplessly support Raj in his publicity stunt. 🙂

Raj following Sena footsteps?

Raj Thackeray, the MNS supremo who had split from Shiv Sena about 6 years back and formed his own party, seems to be making news whenever, he wishes to.All he has to do is dare the govt of Maharashtra or dare the Biharis. Although this time he dared the Hindi News Channels and threatened to ban them in Maharashtra. While , the learned seem content addressing Raj as publicity hungry and his aggressive and communal speeches as the source of his publicity, there is no denying that he is slowly cutting the roots and the impact of  the mother party – Shiv Sena. He has been gathering attention by targeting Biharis and spreading hate movements against them while Sena Supremo , Bal Thackeray , had targeted the Tamils staying in Mumbai ,some decades back. Raj’s political party is perfect replica of Shiv Sena and even his strategies are all copied from Shiv Sena. All is working well for him , at present, as he has been successful to divert the ‘Marathi Manus’ vote-bank of  Shiv Sena towards himself , thereby weakening the Shiv Sena impact with every passing day. Who knows , coming soon,the nation may experience Raj Thackeray ,even copying Bal Thackeray’s dress-code to become the ultimate replacement for Shiv Sena. 🙂
