Well, she has a reason to say so because of the 2002 Gujarat riots that took place during Modi’s regime. But if by any chance she gets an opportunity to be the PM ??? History also reminds us,as a Chief Minister of UP, how she had wasted crores and crores of money in making Elephant Statues(her party symbol) and a park packed with statues of her party’s leaders including herself. Was that not pure wastage of funds which could have been allocated for the welfare of the citizens of the state?
While AAP could easily retain its Delhi governance it chose to sight a reason of leaving the govt and did the same in 49 days. They were keen to pay attention towards 2014 General Elections. While the AAP came to power requesting people to SMS and suggest them whether they should make the Govt or not in Delhi. They never bothered asking the same public as to should they quit the Delhi governance and try their luck in General Elections.
Is AAP really taking politics as a child’s play ?? Or is it that it was a well thought move to attempt Centre Politics leaving Delhi Arvind Kejriwal knew its ‘Now or Never’ if he wishes to make it real big in politics.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh also expressed his discomfort on Tamil Nadu govt’s decision of freeing the assassins terming it ‘against the principles of justice’.
49 days of governance by the the newly born political party AAP is all over the news channels. Some criticizing the party and the supremo,Arvind Kejriwal, for resigning suddenly and some claiming this very step a game-changer in the upcoming General Elections. Both the BJP and Congress stood tall against the Jan Lokpal Bill even being introduced in the House. This gave AAP a major reason to surrender the governance of the Union Territory,Jan Lokpal being one of AAP’s major agendas. In the past,Kejriwal had promised Lokpal in 10 days if elected.
Is Kejriwal playing real smart politics or is he taking random decisions, remains a mystery,so far.
After Telangana Bill was tabled in the Lok Sabha, expelled Congress MP, L Rajagopal used pepper spray in the House, leading to chaos and violence.Papers were torn amid altercations both verbal and physical.MP Rajagopal had to be rescued by watch and ward staff after other members attacked him for spraying.Only 16 MPs were suspended, this session. ย ๐
Violence in Indian Parliament is no more Breaking News these days.Abusive languages, shouting on top of eachother, breaking chairs and tables, tearing clothes and papers are now considered normal parliamentarian mannerism. But the ย use of pepper spray has given this mannerism a new vision and hope.We may soon expect more action and use of more sophisticated weapons being used by our leaders in ‘self-defense’. ๐
Our Politicians and Police Officers make us feel so proud. They are so sensitive about animals.Lets pray, some day soon, they feel the same way for we humans too.
A fabulous take by Purnendu Singh of MutinousIndian.in on this is worth a read. ย ๐
Kumar Vishwas, the poet turned politician from the AAP party has managed to keep his name consistently intact in Breaking News Headlines by daring the big guys in his opponent teams for 2014 Elections. After he has been officially declared AAP’s candidate against Rahul Gandhi in upcoming General Elections he has tried ‘daring’Rahul Gandhi quite a number of times now.In the process, he ‘dared’Narendra Modi along with Rahul Gandhi to fight elections in Amethi(a stronghold constituency of Gandhis) against him.
Once a fan of Narendra Modi,Kumar Vishwas, said he changed his mind about Modi after he saw corruption in Modi’s Gujarat.
Interestingly, although Kumar Vishwas is keeping in news for controversies of daring Rahul Gandhi and Modi and speaking ill about minorities,he is not being taken seriously by either BJP or Congress.
