Panel appointed by Supreme Court in the IPL cricket match fixing case has banned Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings Teams for two years from the tournament and co-owner of Rajasthan Royals , Raj Kundra and owner of Chennai Super Kings , Gurunath Meiyappan have been banned from all forms of cricket for lifetime.
The BCCI Working Committee cleared Raj Kundra(co-owner Rajasthan Royals IPL Team) and Gurunath Meiyappan (son-in-law of Srinivasan)of any involvement in the spot-fixing or match-fixing during IPL 6.But the charges of betting still remain.
Chances of Srinivasan getting his BCCI throne back is likely on cards in coming days!
Sreesanth,Vindoo Dara Singh and now Chennai Super King’s owner and BCCI chief Srinivasan’s son-in-law, Meiyappan, has been arrested in IPL betting case. Srinivasan who has been asked to put down his papers has denied to do so and says he is being targeted.
Lets see if Srinivasan can save his chair after this incident .
