Shahi Imam supports Cong after meeting Sonia Gandhi

Syed Imam Bukhari,the Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid declared his support to Congress after meeting Congress President Sonia Gandhi. Sonia met Shahi Imam to ensure he convinces Muslims not to split their votes. Imam Bukhari said the nation was in danger from ‘communal’ forces and it should be ensured the ‘secular’ votes are not divided.

Secular Votes ?? Does he mean any vote not for BJP and allies would be considered a Secular Vote or does he mean all Muslim votes should be considered Secular Votes ??? 😀

Looks like the Congress is more scared of other self proclaiming secular parties like itself more than ‘communal’ parties of the nation!!

VHP’s renewed demands for Ram Mandir spoils Modi’s call for Muslim votes

While Gujarat CM Narendra Modi seemed to be looking for answers  (in a BJP executive meeting in Delhi)as to why not Muslims nationwide be supporting BJP if 20-25%  Muslims in Gujarat vote for him , he probably has the questioned answered by VHP- one of the wings of RSS. The VIshwa Hindu Parishad a hardcore Hindutva arm called on the Yadavs in UP seeking the state government’s permission to carry out a march for a Ram Mandir(temple) at the disputed site in Ayodhya and was denied the same.

Is the VHP really helping Modi this way, is the only question!

Muslim dominated constituencies voted for Modi

BJP winning 12 out of 19 Muslim vote bank dominated seats in Gujarat has given a strong message to the ‘Secular’ Congress party and has also indicated that the Muslims in Gujarat have moved beyond 2002.Interestingly,BJP did not give ticket to any Muslim candidate yet the miraculous  support to Modi should let the Congress and other parties, who claim to be SECULAR,get the message that “aam aadmi’ (common man) needs a govt which delivers and not just sympathize in the name of minority community and schedule caste and tribe.
