Sometimes back, a busy politician with real big political jobs assigned to him,may be feeling a little different.President’s Of India are not involved in active day to day politics. They are normally heard attending inaugurations,making foreign trips,posing with kids for newspapers,making a speech on Republic Day and at the most accepting or rejecting mercy pleas ! How is Pranab Da spending time as a President Of India ? 🙂
P A Sangma may move Apex Court against Pranab Mukherjee ?
P.A.Sangma who lost to Pranab Mukherjee by a huge margin, in the Presidential Election may decide to knock the doors Of Supreme Court against Pranab Mukherjee’s election as President. Sangma and team had accused Pranab of holding an office of profit , as the chairman of Indian Statistical Institute while filing nomination for Presidential Candidature. They had objected his candidature and complained to the Election Panel which rejected Sangma’s plea after Pranab produced his resignation dated 20th June, accepted by ISI.Coming Wednesday, Sangma and team will hold a meeting where appealing to the court against Pranab would be an agenda of discussion.
Pranab Mukherjee is the 13th President of India and that is the sole-truth of the moment above any allegations, assumptions and political calculations! He has proved his worth as troubleshooter of the Congress by securing for himself a place from where UPA government has high chances of enjoying immunity till his tenure,in case, 2014 General Elections give any mixed result.
Though at odds with Congress, Jagan supports Pranab for President’s Post !
YSR Congress Party with 17 MLAs and 2 MPs and headed by Jagan Mohan Reddy who is not in good terms with Congress after CBI has arrested him on charges of disproportionate assets case has decided to support UPA candidate Pranab Mukherjee !
Though the party has declared their decision in favour of national interest and above politics and tered abstaining from voting for Presidential Election as against ethics. But, as they say, in politics favors are bond to be returned with counter-favors,it is likely that after the Presidential Election things will start easing out for Jagan for his loyalty and support to the ruling UPA government’s Candidate.

While,P A Sangma who was assured about TMC’s support has declared he has no complaints with Mamata Banerjee not supporting him,it seems like the last nail in the coffin and NDA candidates clearly having no chance to win .

Today both Pranab Mukherjee and P.A.Sangma filed their nomination papers for the Prsidential Poll ! With almost all parties declaring their support to either of these two candidates, it is clear that Pranab Mukherjee is more likely to be the President. However, the twist in the tale remain intact with TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee not disclosing her preferred candidate out of the two contestants. She was supporting Dr Kalam to be the President who declined to contest and Ms Banerjee is now left with PA Sangma as the only option, as she has been against Pranab Mukherjee’s candidature.

26th June is the scheduled date for Pranab Mukherjee to resign from Finance Ministry. At a time when our economy is in a shaky state and INR is unstable and has reached its lowest all-time value of 57 , who would be handed over the responsibility ?

It seems that Pranab Mukherjee will win the race with more number of parties supporting him but the race of politics is like the race of the Hare and the Tortoise.Well, in this case the Hare is taking no chance of making any mistake or taking the race or the Tortoise,lightly ! 🙂
Rupee falls to new all time low !
While the Finance Minister is about to quit on the 26th of the month and is busy collecting votes for his Presidential Poll, INR continues to fall against the US dollars to cross the all time low of Rs 57 !
