Today both Pranab Mukherjee and P.A.Sangma filed their nomination papers for the Prsidential Poll ! With almost all parties declaring their support to either of these two candidates, it is clear that Pranab Mukherjee is more likely to be the President. However, the twist in the tale remain intact with TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee not disclosing her preferred candidate out of the two contestants. She was supporting Dr Kalam to be the President who declined to contest and Ms Banerjee is now left with PA Sangma as the only option, as she has been against Pranab Mukherjee’s candidature.
The New Railway Minister,Mukul Roy, on his first day of attending office wanted furniture positioning be changed the way it was, during the time of Mamata Banerjee.

Railway Budget that derailed Railway Minister’s Chair !
Dinesh Trivedi, the Railway Minister remained in the news since the morning as the nation was awaiting the Railway Budget and when it was announced his own party became his biggest critic because the budget favoured increasing ticket fares. TMC which has never favoured hike in price from fuel to fare stood by its principles and the Supremo of TMC, Mamata Banerjee ultimately has asked the Prime Minister to sack her own party member, Dinesh Trivedi from the post of Railway Minister and replace him with Mukul Roy of the party. TMC demanded a rollback however, Trivedi stood by his budget even after knowing it could cost his chair as he reasoned the fare hike mandatory for the smooth running of the railways and also to increase the safety of the passengers! TMC has never lost any opportunity to capitalize on situations where there is any kind of price hike, be it reasonable or not and this time they have ended up sacrificing one of their prominent members in the Centre.Price hike will never be prefered by anyone be it rich or poor or the middle-class but it does not raise eyebrows provided it makes sense and price hike in railway fare for the reasons of paying back previous loans,to avail smooth running of the railways and to increase safety of passengers, hopefully makes sense to most , if not all.
